Patricia J. McWhorter, PhD, is a well-versed clinical psychologist who attends to patients at her private practice in Tooele, UT, which she established in 1996. Her impressive professional journey spans thirty-five years. Her areas of expertise cover counseling for adults with issues such as grief, post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD), depression, bipolar disorders, anxiety, and emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. Dr. McWhorter performs psychological testing for intelligence (IQ), psychological evaluations required for certain surgical procedures, and court-ordered psychological evaluations. Pulitzer-nominated for her book called Cry of Our Native Soul, Dr. McWhorter is also affiliated with Intermountain Healthcare. She is the BACA liaison therapist for the Utah Western Region Chapter, where BACA stands for Bikers Against Child Abuse.
